Intended Use

Device Story

OffRoad Re-Entry Catheter System comprises a positioning balloon catheter and a micro-catheter lancet; designed to assist in accessing the true lumen after bypassing chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions in peripheral vasculature. Used by physicians in clinical settings during endovascular procedures. The device facilitates guidewire placement distal to CTOs; enables re-entry from a subintimal track into the true lumen. Benefits include improved technical success in recanalizing complex peripheral arterial occlusions. Clinical Evidence

Prospective clinical study (Re-ROUTE, N=92) evaluated safety and technical success in femoropopliteal CTOs. Primary safety endpoint: 30-day composite rate of major adverse events (MAE) was 3.3% (upper 95% CI 6.5%), meeting the 15% threshold. Primary effectiveness endpoint: site-reported technical success was 84.8% (lower 95% CI 79%), exceeding the 76% threshold. Core lab-confirmed technical success was 92.1%. Pre-clinical animal study (N=6 swine) confirmed successful re-entry into the true lumen with vascular effects similar to the predicate.
