Intended Use

Subject device incorporates PTFE liner for smooth internal lumen and updated hub material (Pebax 7433) for durability. Device is delivered through tortuous vasculature; clinician monitors progress via imaging. Output is the successful placement of catheters within target vessels. Benefits include improved deliverability and reduced friction during navigation through complex vascular anatomy.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. No clinical data. Performance evaluated via simulated use in neurovascular models, including push/track, torque response, particulate generation, kink resistance, and tensile strength. The sterilization process has been validated, and process monitoring controls are in place to ensure the device is EO sterilized to achieve a minimum sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶. They are labeled as single-use sterile devices with a shelf life of 12 months. ## Conclusions The modified VersaD™ Delivery Catheter has the same intended use and principles of operation, and similar technological characteristics as the currently marketed predicate VersaD™ Delivery Catheter. The differences between the subject and predicate devices do not raise new questions of safety and effectiveness. The subject device was evaluated through design verification and validation, and biocompatibility testing. Based on the information submitted in this 510(k) submission, the subject VersaD™ Delivery Catheter is substantially equivalent to the currently marketed VersaD™ Delivery Catheter.
