NeoConvert Fit is a dental implant abutment system used to convert removable temporary prostheses into screw-retained fixed temporary prostheses. Components include mini conical cylinders, positioning cylinders, PEEK/titanium inserts, and screws. Used with Grand Morse (GM) and Helix Short (HS) implants. Operated by dental professionals in a clinical setting. The system facilitates the transition from removable to fixed temporary restorations for up to 180 days. By providing a secure, screw-retained interface, the device improves patient comfort and function during the temporary healing phase before final restoration.
Clinical Evidence
Bench testing only. No clinical data provided. Performance was validated through dynamic fatigue testing per ISO 14801 and torsion strength testing to ensure compliance with installation torque requirements. Biocompatibility was assessed per ISO 10993-1, confirming equivalence to predicate devices. Sterilization (EO and moist heat) was validated per ISO 11135 and ISO 17665-1.

We have reviewed your section 510(k) premarket notification of intent to market the device referenced above and have determined the device is substantially equivalent (for the indications for use stated in the enclosure) to legally marketed predicate devices marketed in interstate commerce prior to May 28, 1976, the enactment date of the Medical Device Amendments, or to devices that have been reclassified in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) that do not require approval of a premarket approval application (PMA). You may, therefore, market the device, subject to the general controls provisions of the Act. Although this letter refers to your product as a device, please be aware that some cleared products may instead be combination products. ### Device Description
This premarket notification includes the NeoConvert Fit devices compatible with Neodent Implant System. The NeoConvert Fit devices proposed in this submission are similar to devices already cleared in previous submissions of Neodent Implant System, according to predicate devices described above.
The NeoConvert Fit is a technique that uses mini conical cylinders, a positioning cylinder and inserts to convert a removable temporary prosthesis into a screw-retained fixed temporary prosthesis on Grand Morse Implants (GM: K163194, K180536, K190718, K190958 and K201225) and Helix Short (HS: K223638) Implants. The submission includes the following devices: Mini Conical Abutment Cylinder, Positioning Cylinder, PEEK Insert, Titanium Insert, Recharger Sets (consisting of Mini Conical Abutment Cylinders, PEEK Inserts and screws) and Fit Case. Temporary prostheses have a recommended maximum duration of usage of 180 days.

Assessments regarding dynamic fatigue testing were conducted according to the FDA guidance document “Guidance for Industry and FDA Staff – Class II Special Controls Guidance Document: Root-form Endosseous Dental Implants and Endosseous Dental Abutments” and ISO 14801 “Dentistry — Implants — Dynamic loading test for endosseous dental implants”. The results demonstrated that in identical conditions, the subject devices exhibit a level of performance equal than the primary predicate device. Torsion test was also performed to evaluate the strength of the screw used to fix all subject abutments against maximum twisting forces. The results prove that there is an adequate torsion strength in accordance with the installation torque recommended in IFU.
##### **MRI Compatibility Testing**
An assessment was made to demonstrate that the MR conditional labeling (K260460) is applicable to the subject devices, and a patient treated with them can be safely scanned observing the parameters previously established per reference devices.
##### **Biocompatibility Testing**
Assessments regarding biological compatibility were performed according to ISO 10993-1 “Biological evaluation of medical devices – Part 1: Evaluation and testing within a risk management process” and to the FDA Guidance document “Use of International Standard ISO 10993- 1, ‘Biological evaluation of medical devices – Part 1: Evaluation and testing within a risk management process’, Guidance for Industry and Food and Drug Administration Staff, Document issued on: June 16, 2016”.
The subject devices are identical in material, manufacturing processes, sterilization method, and packaging to the primary predicate and reference devices, therefore, no new issues regarding biocompatibility were raised and no additional biocompatibility testing was required.

# Sterilization validation
The proposed devices supplied sterile via Ethylene Oxide (EO), the method was validated to a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 1x10⁻⁶ in accordance with ISO 11135:2014, “Ethylene Oxide – Part 1: Requirements for development, validation and routine control of a sterilization process for medical devices”. EO sterilization residuals have been verified to be less than the maximum allowable limits as defined in ISO 10993-7 “Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices - Part 7: Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Residuals”.
The proposed devices that must be sterilized before installation in the mouth, the steam sterilization methods was validated according to ISO 17665 – 1 “Sterilization of Health Care Products – Moist Heat – Part 1: Requirements for the development, validation and routine control of a sterilization process for medical devices”, using the parameters described in IFU.
The sterilization of the subject device is identical to the sterilization already cleared for the primary and reference predicate devices.
# Shelf Life
The expiration date of the devices was determined considering the integrity of the product and the packaging tests after shelf-life testing. The material and packaging structure of the proposed abutments is equivalent to the primary predicate and reference devices. The shelf life for proposed devices is 5 years.
# Conclusion
The subject devices and the primary predicate device have similar indications for use, intended use, design, raw material and overall dimensions. Thus, all documentation submitted in this premarket notification demonstrate that the proposed devices are substantially equivalent to the primary predicate and reference devices.

This is the fastest way to compare and contrast devices: training data, PCCP scope, how they handled adding new scanners, and so on.
What does the side-by-side PDF viewer mode do?

6. Collections

7. Product codes and the regulations tree
Click a product code in the results to jump to it in the regulations tree — identification text, sibling product codes, and devices you can open in a PDF viewer on the right. Click a regulation number to see its identification, special controls, and related product codes. You can also search by product code or regulation number at the top of the tree. Always read the special controls if any exist for your device — it broadens your search and sharpens pre-kickoff research.

8. Chart view
Click Show Chart and segment by regulation number (or product code) to see which regulations dominate your result set. Clicking a regulation takes you into the regulations tree. Great for spotting that most matches are, say, hardware laparoscopic devices — a cue to go back and filter.

9. The predicate graph
Open the Predicates tab for a family-tree view of predicate relationships. Click a node to trace its parents and children; selections from search carry over pre-selected. The visual lineage is also handy on client calls, e.g. to show how a predicate family evolved and justify why your predicate still holds.

10. Embeddings: the galaxy map
The Embeddings tab plots every matching document in a 2-D "galaxy map" where semantically similar devices cluster together. Hover or click clusters to explore, and let AI label the clusters for you. Embeddings beat product codes for grouping: two devices can carry different product codes (LLZ vs. QIH) yet do the same thing — the embedding captures the meaning of the intended use and device story. This is also exactly how retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) works under the hood, and it makes a great visual on client calls.
