Intended Use

The AccurECG® Analysis System v2.0 is intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals in the assessment of a patient's recorded ambulatory ECG data. Analysis results are provided in a standard report for review and printing. The System provides single-lead analysis on a beat-by-beat basis, Ventricular Ectopic Beat and Supraventricular Ectopic Beat detection, heart rate measurement, and rhythm analysis. The AccurECG® Analysis System v2.0 is compatible with ECG recordings taken with silver/silver chloride (Ag / AgCl) electrodes (wet leads). The AccurECG® Analysis System v2.0 is not for use in life-supporting or sustaining systems or ECG monitor and alarm devices. The System is not intended to be used with cardiac telemetry monitors. The AccurECG® Analysis System's automated interpretation results are not intended to be the sole means of diagnosis. The AccurECG Report is an adjunct intended to facilitate health care decision making in conjunction with the physician's knowledge of ECG patterns, patient background, clinical history, symptoms, and other diagnostic information to arrive at a diagnostic conclusion. The AccurECG® Analysis System v2.0 does not interface with data management systems or hardware and is device independent.

Device Story

AccurECG Analysis System v2.0 is a server-side software tool for analyzing ambulatory ECG recordings. Input consists of single-lead ECG files (.DAT, .HEA, .ECG, .EDF) uploaded via a web interface. The system uses proprietary algorithms to perform signal delineation (QRS/T-wave detection) and automated arrhythmia classification. Output is a standard report providing heart rate, rhythm analysis, and ectopic beat detection for physician review. Used in clinical/office settings by healthcare professionals (technicians, MDs). The system is device-independent and does not interface with hardware or telemetry. Physicians use the report as an adjunct to clinical history and ECG patterns to support diagnostic conclusions. Benefits include automated, standardized analysis of ambulatory ECG data to facilitate efficient clinical review.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Performance evaluated per AAMI/ANSI EC 57:2012 and IEC 60601-2-47:2012. Testing included unit, module, system, and cybersecurity verification. Comparative performance testing against the predicate device demonstrated statistical equivalence, with 95% confidence intervals for all measured parameters falling within specified equivalence margins.

Technological Characteristics

Cloud-based software system; server-side proprietary interpretation algorithm; client-side web interface. Compatible with single-lead ECG (200-1000 Hz, 11/16-bit). Connectivity via web API. Software environment: Ubuntu Linux virtual machines; Python-based. Complies with AAMI/ANSI EC 57:2012 and IEC 60601-2-47:2012.

Indications for Use

Indicated for adults aged 22 and older for assessment of recorded ambulatory ECG data; intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals as an adjunct for clinical decision-making; not for use in life-supporting systems, ECG monitors, alarms, or cardiac telemetry.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

An electrocardiograph is a device used to process the electrical signal transmitted through two or more electrocardiograph electrodes and to produce a visual display of the electrical signal produced by the heart.
