CP Bracket System consists of ceramic orthodontic brackets for orthodontic tooth movement. Single-use devices; applied by orthodontists/dentists during clinical orthodontic treatment. Brackets facilitate tooth alignment; performance relies on proper adhesive application per manufacturer instructions. Biocompatibility testing supports safety; prior use of components in legally marketed devices confirms effectiveness.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical trials performed. Evidence consists of biocompatibility testing and post-market performance data from 20,000 units sold in Japan since 2003, with a low complaint rate (four complaints) attributed to user error regarding adhesive application.

Technological Characteristics

Ceramic orthodontic brackets; single-use. Components utilize materials previously cleared in DENTSPLY's legally marketed devices. Biocompatibility testing completed.

Indications for Use

Indicated for orthodontic movement of teeth in patients requiring orthodontic treatment.
