Intended Use

Orthopantomograph® OP100D is intended to be used for producing diagnostic x-ray radiographs of dentition, TM-joints and other oral structures.

Device Story

Orthopantomograph® OP100D is a digital dental X-ray imaging system. It captures radiographic images of dentition, TM-joints, and oral structures. The device functions as a digital successor to traditional film-based panoramic X-ray units, utilizing digital sensors to acquire and process images for clinical review. Operated by dental professionals in clinical settings, the system provides immediate digital visualization of oral anatomy. This facilitates diagnostic assessment of dental health, jaw alignment, and structural abnormalities, enabling clinicians to make informed treatment decisions. The digital output allows for efficient storage, retrieval, and enhancement of images, potentially reducing radiation exposure compared to film-based systems and improving diagnostic workflow.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided; bench testing only.

Technological Characteristics
