Device Story

Arthrex Fingershield is a protective finger guard worn over surgical gloves during surgical procedures. Device consists of a woven polyester cylinder containing a radio-opaque Micropake® marker thread. Used by surgeons or surgical staff in clinical/OR settings to prevent glove damage or finger injury while tensioning sutures or tying knots. Device provides a physical barrier; no electronic or algorithmic components. Sterile, single-use, one-size-fits-all design.

You may, therefore, market the device, subject to the general controls provisions of the Act.
