Intended Use

The Sensi Grip® Surgical Glove is a disposable device intended for medical use within hospitals and other healthcare facilities during invasive and non-invasive medical procedures requiring sterility. Disposable sterile surgical glove; made from Allotex® enzyme-treated natural rubber latex. Functions as a physical barrier against body fluids and bloodborne pathogens. Designed to conform to the hand for dexterity during medical procedures. Used in hospitals and healthcare facilities by surgical personnel. Provides protection to surgical wounds from contamination. Features a labeled protein content claim (50 micrograms or less per gram of glove) achieved through enzyme treatment and a leaching/washing process to remove chemical accelerants.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical trials were performed. Safety was established through non-clinical bench testing and historical clinical data regarding skin irritation and sensitization, which met or exceeded requirements. Performance standards for water tightness and tensile properties were verified against ASTM D3577-00 and ASTM D5151-99.
