Intended Use
belleGlass HP DC Opaceous Dentin LCTE 2 is a dual cured composite material for use with the belleGlass HP (heat and pressure) crown and bridge fabrication system where a more durable base for composite crowns and bridges is desired.
Device Story
Dual-cured composite resin material; used as a base component in dental crown and bridge fabrication. Operates within the belleGlass HP (heat and pressure) system; requires light activation followed by a final heat and pressure curing cycle in an automatic curing device. Formulated with a low coefficient of thermal expansion to match natural tooth dentin. Used by dental laboratory technicians to create durable restorative structures. Benefits include improved structural durability and thermal compatibility with natural dentin.
Clinical Evidence
No clinical data; bench testing only.
Technological Characteristics
Dual-cured composite resin; low coefficient of thermal expansion; intended for use with heat and pressure curing system. Class II device (21 CFR 872.3690).
Indications for Use
Indicated for use as a dual-cured composite material in the fabrication of dental crowns and bridges requiring a durable base, specifically within the belleGlass HP heat and pressure system.
Regulatory Classification
Identification
Tooth shade resin material is a device composed of materials such as bisphenol-A glycidyl methacrylate (Bis-GMA) intended to restore carious lesions or structural defects in teeth.
