Intended Use

The Bracket Adhesives are used for the bonding of brackets.

Device Story

S&C-Bracket Adhesives consist of three variants: Light Cure (LC), Dual Cure (DC), and No Mix. These adhesives facilitate the direct bonding of orthodontic brackets—metal, ceramic, glass ceramic, or plastic—to tooth surfaces. Used by orthodontists or dental professionals in a clinical setting. The clinician applies the adhesive to the bracket or tooth surface to secure the bracket in place, enabling orthodontic treatment. The device provides the necessary mechanical bond to maintain bracket position throughout the course of treatment.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided; bench testing only.

Technological Characteristics

Resin-based bracket adhesive and tooth conditioner. Variants include light-cure, dual-cure, and no-mix formulations. Classified under 21 CFR 872.3750 (Product Code DYH).

Indications for Use

Indicated for the direct bonding of orthodontic brackets (metal, ceramic, glass ceramic, or plastic) to teeth. Intended for prescription use by dental professionals.
