Device Story

RODIN Cement is a dental luting material available in two formulations: Light Cure (Rodin Envision) and Dual Cure (Rodin Luting Cement). Used by dental professionals in clinical settings for the permanent cementation of glass-ceramic, lithium disilicate, and composite restorations. Light Cure version is restricted to translucent restorations <2mm thick. Dual Cure version supports opaque ceramics when used with a separately light-cured adhesive. The material acts as an adhesive interface between the tooth structure and the prosthetic restoration, ensuring mechanical retention and marginal seal. You may, therefore, market the device, subject to the general controls provisions of the Act. Although this letter refers to your product as a device, please be aware that some cleared products may instead be combination products.
