Intended Use

The Bpump Blood Pressure Cuff, Model: BC1000, BC8000, are intended to be wrapped on the upper arm and used with a non-invasive blood pressure monitor system to complete the measurement of blood parameters on adults.

Device Story

Bpump Blood Pressure Cuff (Models BC1000, BC8000) is a reusable, rectangular, inelastic sleeve with an internal bladder and single-tube connection. Device wraps around the upper arm; connects to a non-invasive blood pressure monitor (NIBP) for inflation/deflation cycles. Operates as a passive accessory to an NIBP monitor; does not perform measurements independently. Used in clinical or home settings by patients or healthcare providers. Provides pneumatic interface for blood pressure monitoring; facilitates accurate cuff pressure transmission to the monitor. Benefits include reliable, non-invasive blood pressure assessment.

Clinical Evidence

Clinical validation performed in accordance with ANSI/AAMI/ISO 81060-2 and IEC 80601-2-30. Results confirmed the device met all applicable requirements for automated non-invasive sphygmomanometers.

Technological Characteristics

Reusable inelastic sleeve with bladder and single-tube pneumatic connection. Models: BC1000 (22-36cm arm range), BC8000 (32-44cm arm range). Biocompatibility per ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and ISO 10993-10 (irritation/sensitization). Conforms to IEC 80601-2-30 for basic safety and essential performance.

Indications for Use

Indicated for adult patients requiring non-invasive blood pressure measurement using an external monitor system.

Regulatory Classification

Identification
