Intended Use

The Horizon SE is a state-of-the-art computerized laboratory, capable of acquiring and displaying essential patient data such as ECG/Heart Rate, invasive blood pressures, pulse oximetry, EtCO2, respiration, cardiac output and body temperatures. Heart rate, multi-lead ECG and BP waveforms from different heart sites are continuously presented on the Physiological Waveform Display. The hemodynamic data, waveform and numerical, can be stored, recorded, analyzed and presented in a variety of report formats.

Device Story

Horizon SE is a computerized laboratory system for monitoring patient physiological data. Inputs include ECG signals, invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, EtCO2, respiration, cardiac output, and body temperature. The device processes these inputs to display real-time waveforms and numerical hemodynamic data on a Physiological Waveform Display. It supports storage, recording, and analysis of data for report generation. Used in clinical settings (Cathlab) by healthcare professionals. The system provides continuous monitoring to assist clinicians in hemodynamic assessment and patient management.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided; substantial equivalence is based on technological characteristics and design similarities to predicate devices.

Technological Characteristics

Computerized diagnostic system for physiological monitoring. Features multi-lead ECG, invasive BP, pulse oximetry, EtCO2, respiration, cardiac output, and temperature sensors. Waveform display and data analysis software. Class II device (21 CFR 870.1425).

Indications for Use

Indicated for acquisition and display of patient physiological data including ECG/Heart Rate, invasive blood pressures, pulse oximetry, EtCO2, respiration, cardiac output, and body temperatures in a clinical laboratory setting.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

A programmable diagnostic computer is a device that can be programmed to compute various physiologic or blood flow parameters based on the output from one or more electrodes, transducers, or measuring devices; this device includes any associated commercially supplied programs.
