It connects in-line with manual resuscitation bag/mask units. The device utilizes a copper alloy diaphragm capsule that inflates under positive pressure (0-120 cm H2O). Internal mechanical linkages translate diaphragm movement to a pointer on a dial, providing real-time visual pressure feedback to the clinician. This allows the operator to monitor ventilation pressures and ensure they remain within safe, prescribed limits. The device is purely mechanical; it requires no external power or software. ## Clinical Evidence Bench testing only. No clinical data. Testing compared 50 subject devices against 10 predicate devices. Primary endpoints included accuracy (tolerance +/- 1.6% full scale) and needle responsiveness. One technological modification, the physical adjustment of the abovementioned tab, dictates whether the gauge will read both negative and positive pressure, or whether it will read only positive pressure.

The technological modification: Adjusting the tab at different heights controls the movement of an internal lever:
- For the predicate device, the tab is bent higher, allowing greater movement of the upper lever so that both positive and negative pressure can be introduced for the full range of -120cm $H_2O$ to +120cm $H_2O$ .

The acceptance criteria for responsiveness of the needle movement is that both gauges must respond instantly to pressurization changes.
