Intended Use

THE LIFT MASTER ELEVATING POWER SEAT ASSEMBLY DESIGN IS INTENDED FOR USE ON A POWER AND MANUAL WHEELCHAIR. THE LIFT MASTER WILL ELEVATE PATIENTS TO A GREATER HEIGHT THAN THAT OF THE CONVENTIONAL SEAT HEIGHT OF A WHEELCHAIR.

Device Story

Lift Master is a mechanical elevating power seat assembly for power and manual wheelchairs. Device consists of a ball drive pedestal actuator, aluminum and steel brackets, safety cable, and wiring harness. It elevates the seat from 17.5" to 25.5" (8" range). Operates on rear-wheel drive systems and supports custom seating. Used by wheelchair users to reach higher positions. Provides speed reduction when in the elevated position. Stability is maintained during operation on terrain up to 9 degrees with a 250 lb weight limit.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Physical testing demonstrated that the device does not compromise wheelchair stability when driven in the elevated position on terrain up to 9 degrees with a maximum weight load of 250 lbs.

Mechanical ball drive pedestal actuator; aluminum and steel brackets; safety cable; wiring harness. Operates on rear-wheel drive. 8-inch vertical travel range. No software or electronic processing components.

Indications for Use
