Device Story

The Vision Cardioplegia Delivery System is a cardiopulmonary bypass heat exchanger used during cardiac surgery. It functions by mixing, cooling, and warming oxygenated blood cardioplegia solution for delivery to the patient's heart. Operated by perfusionists or surgical staff in an operating room setting, the device manages thermal regulation of the cardioplegia solution to maintain myocardial protection during bypass. The system is designed to provide controlled temperature delivery, flow resistance management, and debubbling capabilities.
