Intended Use

FOP NM-10 is an ophthalmic non-mydriatic digital camera using iPhone SE3 which captures images of the fundus of the human eye and surface as well as surrounding areas of the human eye.

Device Story

FOP NM-10 is a portable, battery-operated, smartphone-based (iPhone SE3) non-mydriatic ophthalmic camera. It captures high-resolution fundus and anterior segment images using infrared (855nm) and cool white LED illumination. The device features a 40° field of view and 8 internal fixation points. The Remidio FOP app, running on the iOS platform, provides wireless control (Bluetooth) over illumination intensity, focus (manual/tap-to-focus), and image capture/archiving. Used in hospitals and ophthalmic clinics by healthcare professionals, the device enables non-dilated retinal photography, facilitating clinical assessment of ocular health. The compact, modular design improves portability and ease of operation compared to traditional stationary fundus cameras.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided. Substantial equivalence is supported by bench testing, including electrical safety (IEC 60601-1), EMC (IEC 60601-1-2), optical safety (ISO 15004-1/2, ANSI Z80.36), optical performance (ISO 10940), biocompatibility (ISO 10993-5/10), and usability engineering (IEC 62366-1).
