The differences in technological characteristics do not raise new or different questions of safety and performance. Based on the results of the risk assessment and all applicable testing, the subject devices are determined to perform as intended during normal intended use for the emulsification and removal of cataracts, anterior and posterior segment vitrectomy. Therefore, the subject devices meet all applicable requirements for substantial equivalence when compared to the predicate devices.
