Device Story

nRoot BP is a pre-mixed paste root canal repair material; composed of inorganic powder and organic liquid; packaged in preloaded syringe. Used by dentists/endodontists in clinical settings for permanent root canal sealing and surgical endodontic applications. Material solidifies in bodily fluid environments; provides X-ray opacity; does not stain teeth. Device functions as a restorative/sealing agent for root perforations, resorptions, root end filling, apexification, and pulp capping. Clinical benefit derived from effective sealing of root canal system and promotion of healing in surgical endodontic procedures.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Performance verified against ISO 6876:2012 standards. Tests included appearance, deliverable volume, setting time, dimensional changes, solubility/disintegration, compressive strength, pH, arsenic/lead content, radio-opacity, and microbiological indicators. Biocompatibility evaluated per ISO 10993-1 and ISO 7405. All results met acceptance criteria and demonstrated similarity to the predicate device.
