Intended Use

Device Story

ExcelsiusGPS™ Instruments consist of verification adapters, interbody inserters, and trials; used manually or with ExcelsiusGPS™/ExcelsiusHub™ navigation systems. Input: patient anatomical data from CT scans or fluoroscopy via fiducial markers. Operation: surgeons use instruments to prepare implant sites or place spinal/orthopedic bone screws and interbody fusion devices in open or percutaneous procedures. Output: physical placement of implants guided by navigation system. Benefit: precise anatomical localization and instrument positioning during spinal/orthopedic surgery. Used in clinical/OR settings by surgeons.
