Intended Use

Device Story

Sterile, single-use endoscopic clipping device; used in flexible endoscopy for GI tissue compression. Consists of delivery system and clip component; two handles control opening/closing of two corresponding clips. Principle of operation: steel wire pulled through operating handle drives clip opening/closing to clamp tissue. Used by physicians in clinical settings. Benefits include endoscopic marking, hemostasis, and closure of small perforations. Device is MRI compatible.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. No clinical or animal studies included. Performance testing covered dimensions, clip assembly, scope/biopsy valve compatibility, tensile/clamping strength, rotation, torque, and MRI safety. Shelf-life validated via accelerated aging (ASTM F1980-21); sterilization validated per ISO 11135:2014.

Indications for Use
