Intended Use

The Revi System is indicated for the treatment of patients with symptoms of urgency incontinence alone or in combination with urinary urgency.

Device Story

Revi System is an implantable tibial electrical urinary continence device; treats urge urinary incontinence. System consists of an implanted wireless neurostimulation component and a non-implanted external wearable unit. Wearable unit transmits power wirelessly to the implant; implant delivers electrical pulses to the tibial nerve near the ankle. Stimulation travels along the leg to the sacral plexus and spinal cord; modulates nerve function to relieve symptoms. Device is used by patients; wearable unit provides control. Subject device (v4.3 software) increases treatment program storage capacity from 2 to 4 compared to predicate. Clinical benefit is symptom relief for urinary urgency/incontinence.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Testing included stimulation frequency control, charging mode protection, system performance verification, and software/cybersecurity verification. Human factors/usability evaluation confirmed no new critical tasks were introduced.

Technological Characteristics

Implantable tibial neurostimulator; wireless power transfer from external wearable unit. Software v4.3 supports storage of up to 4 treatment programs. Connectivity via wireless power/data link between wearable and implant.

Indications for Use

Indicated for patients with symptoms of urgency incontinence, alone or in combination with urinary urgency.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

Common or Usual Name: Implantable tibial electrical urinary continence device - Classification Name: Implantable tibial electrical urinary continence device (21 CFR IV. 876.5305) - Classification: Class II V. - VI. Product Code: QXM #### VII. Product Description: The Revi™ System is an implanted tibial electrical urinary continence device that wirelessly receives power from a non-implanted external wearable unit to provide electrical stimulation of the tibial nerve in proximity to the ankle. The device is intended for the treatment of urge urinary incontinence, alone or in combination with urinary urgency. The implantable device is implanted in the vicinity of the tibial neurovascular bundle. The treatment effect of the system is achieved by the implantable wireless neurostimulation component, which sends pulses to the tibial nerve when energized by the wearable unit transmitted power. The electrical pulses stimulate the nerve along the leg, reaching the sacral plexus and entering the spinal cord. This stimulation has the power to modulate nerve function, relieving symptoms. #### VIII. Indications for Use The Revi System is indicated for the treatment of patients with symptoms of urgency incontinence alone or in combination with urinary urgency. {5}------------------------------------------------ Image /page/5/Picture/0 description: The image shows the logo for Blue Wind Medical. The logo features the words "Blue Wind" in a bold, sans-serif font, with "Blue" stacked above "Wind". Below "Wind" and slightly offset to the left is the word "MEDICAL" in a smaller font.
