Intended Use

Sold OTC in 1 fl. oz. and 4 fl. oz. PET bottles. User-applied; intended for consumer use. Formulation includes water, coconut oil, and warming agents (vanillyl butyl ether). Provides lubrication and warming sensation. Benefits include enhanced comfort during sexual activity. Non-sterile.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Biocompatibility testing per ISO 10993 (Cytotoxicity, Sensitization, Vaginal Irritation, Acute Systemic Toxicity) confirmed non-cytotoxic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing, and non-toxic profile. Condom compatibility tested per ASTM D7661-18. Shelf-life validated via real-time and accelerated aging studies for 3-year duration.

Technological Characteristics

Water-based, viscous liquid. Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Coconut Oil, warming agents, and stabilizers. pH 4.00-5.25; Osmolality 800-1075 mOsm/kg; Viscosity 10,000-19,000 cps. Packaged in PET bottles. Non-sterile. Tested per USP <51>, <61>, <62>, <1111>, <911>, <971>, <841>, <785>.

Indications for Use

Indicated for penile, anal, and/or vaginal application to lubricate and moisturize, enhance ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity, and supplement natural lubrication. Compatible with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms; incompatible with polyurethane condoms.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

A condom is a sheath which completely covers the penis with a closely fitting membrane. The condom is used for contraceptive and for prophylactic purposes (preventing transmission of sexually transmitted infections). The device may also be used to collect semen to aid in the diagnosis of infertility.

Special Controls

*Classification.* (1) Class II (special controls) for condoms made of materials other than natural rubber latex, including natural membrane (skin) or synthetic.(2) Class II (special controls) for natural rubber latex condoms.
