Intended Use

Easy On Universal Glaze & Stain is suitable for the esthetic individualization of monolithic or minimally reduced dental crown and bridge constructions made of zirconium dioxide or lithium disilicate.

Device Story

Easy On Universal Glaze & Stain is a dental ceramic finishing system consisting of paste-type stains, glazes, and liquids. Used by dental professionals to individualize the appearance of dental prostheses (crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays) made of zirconium dioxide or lithium disilicate. The system includes various shades and translucency levels to replicate natural tooth and gum tissue characteristics (incisal translucency, mamelons, halos). The paste is applied to the ceramic surface using a brush; the material is then fired at low temperatures to integrate surface textures and colors. The device provides aesthetic enhancements and surface finishing for dental restorations. It is intended for use in a dental laboratory or clinical setting by trained dental personnel.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data. Bench testing only. Performance testing conducted per ISO 6872:2015 (flexural strength >= 50 MPa, chemical solubility < 100 µg/cm², thermal expansion, glass transition temperature). Biocompatibility testing performed per ISO 10993-1, -3, -5, -6, -11, and ISO 7405.

Technological Characteristics

Feldspar ceramic (glass oxide) paste and liquid system. Form factor: pastes and liquids. Connectivity: none. Sterilization: non-sterile. Complies with ISO 6872:2015 (Type 1, class 1b). Flexural strength >= 50 MPa. Thermal expansion coefficient (12.0±0.5) x10^-6K^-1. Glass transition temperature (560±20)°C.

Indications for Use

Indicated for esthetic individualization of monolithic or minimally reduced dental crown and bridge constructions made of zirconium dioxide or lithium disilicate.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

Porcelain powder for clinical use is a device consisting of a mixture of kaolin, felspar, quartz, or other substances intended for use in the production of artificial teeth in fixed or removable dentures, of jacket crowns, facings, and veneers. The device is used in prosthetic dentistry by heating the powder mixture to a high temperature in an oven to produce a hard prosthesis with a glass-like finish.
