The X-CUBE i8. X-CUBE i9 are intended to be used in a hospital or medical clinic.

Device Story

X-CUBE i8 and i9 are diagnostic ultrasound systems for medical imaging. Systems accept acoustic signals via transducers, processing them to generate 2D, M-mode, and Doppler (CF, PD, PWD, CWD, TDI) images. Operated by physicians or under their supervision in hospitals/clinics. Features include Xpeed, Full SRI, Spatial Compounding, Panoramic, Stress Echo, Cube Strain, Needle Vision Plus, Elastography, Cube view, CEUS, Cube Note, Auto EF, Auto NT, and Microvascular Imaging. Output displayed on integrated flat panel for clinical diagnosis of soft tissue and blood flow. Benefits include optimized workflow and image quality for diagnostic assessment.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical studies were required to support substantial equivalence. Evidence is based on non-clinical bench testing, including biocompatibility, thermal, electrical, electromagnetic, and mechanical safety, confirming conformance to applicable standards (IEC, AAMI/ANSI/ISO, NEMA, AIUM).
