Intended Use

The Fogarty Occlusion Catheters are indicated for temporary vessel occlusion. Fogarty Occlusion Catheters are single-lumen catheters with a distal latex balloon and proximal gate valve; used for temporary vessel occlusion. Input: manual inflation via syringe connected to gate valve. Output: balloon inflation to occlude vessel. Used in hospitals/clinical environments by clinicians. Removable stainless-steel stylet maintains catheter shape/lumen patency. Benefits: provides temporary flow cessation during vascular procedures.
