Intended Use
The Patient Monitoring Cables are intended to be used with ECG, EKG, Spo2 and BP monitoring devices. The Patient Monitoring Cables are used to connect electrodes, catheters, and/or sensors placed at appropriate sites on the patient to a monitoring device for general monitoring and/or diagnostic evaluation by heath care professional.
Device Story
Patient Monitoring Cables serve as passive, non-patient-contact, insulated, shielded electrical conduits; they connect patient-side sensors (electrodes, catheters, SpO2 sensors) to clinical monitoring devices. These cables transmit electrical signals or power between the sensor and the monitor; they do not generate signals, process data, or connect to mains power. Used in clinical settings by healthcare professionals, the cables facilitate the acquisition of physiological data for diagnostic evaluation. They are provided as replacements for OEM cables; they do not alter the clinical decision-making process beyond enabling the connection required for the monitor to function.
Clinical Evidence
No clinical data provided. Substantial equivalence is based on identical design and materials to predicate devices; bench testing confirmed compliance with safety, performance, and biocompatibility standards.
Technological Characteristics
Passive, shielded electrical cables with connectors. Materials: tin copper, PA66, PVC, ABS. Conformance: IEC 60601-1 (safety), ANSI AAMI EC53 (performance), ISO 10993-5/10 (biocompatibility). Non-sterile, reusable or disposable. No active electronic components or software.
Indications for Use
Indicated for patients requiring ECG, EKG, SpO2, or blood pressure monitoring via connection of electrodes, catheters, or sensors to a monitoring device for general monitoring or diagnostic evaluation by healthcare professionals.
Regulatory Classification
Identification
A patient transducer and electrode cable (including connector) is an electrical conductor used to transmit signals from, or power or excitation signals to, patient-connected electrodes or transducers.

Dear Bill Dai:
We have reviewed your Section 510(k) premarket notification of intent to market the device referenced above and have determined the device is substantially equivalent (for the indications for use stated in the enclosure) to legally marketed predicate devices marketed in interstate commerce prior to May 28, 1976, the enactment date of the Medical Device Amendments, or to devices that have been reclassified in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (Act) that do not require approval of a premarket approval application (PMA). You may, therefore, market the device, subject to the general controls provisions of the Act. Although this letter refers to your product as a device, please be aware that some cleared products may instead be combination products. The 510(k) Premarket Notification Database located at https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfpmn/pmn.cfm identifies combination product submissions. The general controls provisions of the Act include requirements for annual registration, listing of devices, good manufacturing practice, labeling, and prohibitions against misbranding and adulteration. Please note: CDRH does not evaluate information related to contract liability warranties. We remind you, however, that device labeling must be truthful and not misleading.
If your device is classified (see above) into either class II (Special Controls) or class III (PMA), it may be subject to additional controls. Existing major regulations affecting your device can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Parts 800 to 898. In addition, FDA may publish further announcements concerning your device in the Federal Register.
Please be advised that FDA's issuance of a substantial equivalence determination does not mean that FDA has made a determination that your device complies with other requirements of the Act or any Federal statutes and regulations administered by other Federal agencies. You must comply with all the Act's

# Description of Devices:
Patient Monitoring Cables are the replacements for similar cables manufactured by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for their respective monitors.
It is a non-patient-contact, insulated, shielded, electrical cord with a connector (plug) at both ends designed to transmit electrical power and/or signal (data) between medical devices (e.g., to connect ECG electrodes, SpO2 sensor, IBP transducer to a patient monitor). It is not intended to connect to the mains (i.e., not a mains power cable), does not generate any type of power and/or signal, and has no additional non-electrical conducting or processing
