The device consists of a semi-permeable polyurethane (PU) top film, a 3.0 mm PU foam absorbing pad containing a silver sodium hydrogen zirconium phosphate antimicrobial complex, and a perforated silicone adhesive bi-layer. The dressing is applied to the wound site by healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, or home care settings. The silver complex provides antimicrobial activity against various bacteria, yeast, and mold for up to 7 days. The dressing absorbs exudate while the silicone adhesive facilitates secure attachment and atraumatic removal. By managing exudate and providing an antimicrobial barrier, the device supports optimal wound healing conditions and protects the wound from microbial contamination. ## Clinical Evidence No clinical data was required to support substantial equivalence. Bench testing included: real-time and accelerated aging (ASTM F1980-07), packaging integrity (ASTM D4169-16), biocompatibility (ISO 10993-1), fluid handling capacity/absorptive capacity/moisture vapor transmission rate (EN 13726-1), waterproofness (EN 13726-3), dynamic friction (EN ISO 8295), conformability (EN 13726-4), peel adhesion (ASTM D3330), and antimicrobial effectiveness (modified AATCC 100:2012).
