DB-Cranial is a moldable, biocompatible calcium phosphate bone void filler kit; consists of alpha-tricalcium phosphate powder and sodium silicate-sodium phosphate mixing solution. Components mixed prior to implantation; applied by surgeons to repair/fill cranial defects or burr holes. Material sets in situ to form hydroxyapatite; provides structural restoration of cranial bone contours. Device is sterile, single-use; supplied in 3 cc, 5 cc, and 10 cc volumes. Benefits include stable, biocompatible material for cranial reconstruction with minimal risk of thermal necrosis during curing.
