Indications for Use

tenure 4G is intended to be used as a resin tooth bonding agent. It is used for composite bonding of porcelain and metals, as well as for desensitizing root, dentin or crown prior to impressions or temporaries.

Device Story

tenure 4G is a multi-purpose, self-cure dental adhesive system; consists of polymerizable dental monomer resins; two-part system mixed by clinician; forms leak and stain-resistant bonds between dental surfaces and restorations; used in dental clinics by dentists; applied to intraoral surfaces including porcelain, ceramics, metals, and tooth structure; provides bonding for direct/indirect restorations and desensitization of dentin/root surfaces; benefits patient by securing restorations and reducing tooth sensitivity.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Laboratory shear bond testing performed on porcelain, enamel, and dentin substrates. Results showed mean bond strengths (MPa) of 13.149 (porcelain), 12.768 (enamel), and 26.035 (dentin), demonstrating effectiveness comparable to or exceeding predicate devices.

Technological Characteristics

Self-cure, methacrylate resin-based adhesive system; contains acetone and ethanol solvents; total-etch technique; multi-purpose application; permanent contact, external communicating device.

Indications for Use

Indicated for routine direct and indirect resin composite bonding; porcelain, ceramic veneer, amalgam, precious and semi-precious metal bonding; indirect gold, porcelain, and ceramic inlay/onlay bonding; and desensitization of root, dentin, or crown prior to impressions or temporaries.

Regulatory Classification

Identification

A resin tooth bonding agent is a device material, such as methylmethacrylate, intended to be painted on the interior of a prepared cavity of a tooth to improve retention of a restoration, such as a filling.
