Intended Use

Device Story

Handheld digital ophthalmic camera system; consists of M5 handset, attachable optics modules (EY4 for fundus, ES2 for anterior segment), and charging/transfer cradle. EY4 module uses white/infrared LEDs and fixation target LEDs to capture retinal images. ES2 module uses white/cobalt blue LEDs for anterior imaging. Device utilizes 5MP CMOS sensor; stores images/video on flash memory card; transfers data to PC via USB. Operated by clinicians in clinical settings. Provides digital visualization of ocular structures to assist in ophthalmic examination and documentation. Benefits include portable, non-mydriatic-capable imaging for eye health assessment.
