Intended Use

The OmniPro Incline is a QA beam measuring system intended to be used for the verification of dose distribution in radio therapy. The system is intended to measure proton, photon and electron beams.

Device Story

OmniPro Incline is a radiation therapy QA tool for measuring and analyzing depth dose distributions of particle beams (up to 33 cm Water Equivalent Thickness). System includes a multi-layer ionization chamber array and an electrometer based on Tera chip technology. It measures single Bragg peaks and modulated distributions for both active and passive delivery systems. Features high spatial/temporal resolution (approx. 2mm WET; sampling down to 10ms). Software manages measurement and analysis, producing data compatible with IBA Dosimetry formats. Used by medical physicists/technicians in clinical radiotherapy environments to verify beam delivery accuracy, ensuring correct dose distribution for patient treatment.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data. Bench testing only.

Technological Characteristics

System comprises multi-layer ionization chambers and a dedicated electrometer utilizing Tera chip technology. Measures proton, photon, and electron beams up to 33 cm WET. Spatial resolution ~2mm WET; temporal sampling down to 10ms. Software-based analysis tool for dose distribution verification. Compatible with IBA Dosimetry data formats.

Indications for Use

Indicated for use as a quality assurance beam measuring system for the verification of dose distribution in radiotherapy, specifically for measuring proton, photon, and electron beams.

Regulatory Classification

Identification
