ferroFibre Stainless Steel Suture is a sterile, multifilament surgical suture used for soft tissue approximation and various surgical closures (abdominal, hernia, sternal, orthopaedic). The device is provided armed with cutting needles. It is intended for use by surgeons in clinical or operating room settings. The suture provides mechanical support to tissues during the healing process. It is a passive implantable device; no electronic or algorithmic components are involved.

Bench testing only. Testing included biocompatibility (ISO 10993), diameter, and tensile strength (USP 31 NF 26 Monographs <861>, <871>, <881>).
