QXR-16 Digital Radiography system is indicated for digital imaging solution designed for general radiographic system for human anatomy. It is intended to replace film or screen based radiographic systems in all general purpose diagnostic procedures. Not to be used for mammography.
Device Story
QXR-16 is a stationary digital radiography system replacing conventional film-based systems. It utilizes a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) detector to capture X-ray images (4096x4096 pixels) and transmits them to a Windows XP-based workstation. The system provides 14-bit digitization and 4.6 lp/mm resolution. Operators use software to perform image processing, including inversion, zooming, panning, and window/level adjustments, to enhance diagnostic detail. Processed images are displayed within 16 seconds of exposure. The system supports DICOM 3.0 for printing and storage. It is intended for use by healthcare professionals in clinical settings to assist in diagnostic decision-making by providing high-resolution digital images of human anatomy.
Clinical Evidence
Bench testing only. Performance data included electrical, mechanical, and environmental safety testing per IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-1, EMC testing per IEC 60601-1-2, and biocompatibility testing per ISO 10993-1. Non-clinical and clinical considerations were addressed per FDA guidance for solid-state X-ray imaging devices. All test results were satisfactory.
Technological Characteristics
Stationary digital radiography system; CCD detector; 17"x17" imaging area; 4096x4096 pixel format; 14-bit digitization; 4.6 lp/mm resolution; DICOM 3.0 compliant; Windows XP-based workstation; connectivity via CD/DVD/USB/DICOM network. Standards: IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-1, IEC 60601-1-2, ISO 10993-1.
Indications for Use
Indicated for digital imaging of human anatomy in general purpose diagnostic radiographic procedures. Contraindicated for mammography.
Regulatory Classification
Identification
