Intended Use

The Bardex® I.C. latex Foley catheter is intended for use in the drainage and/or collection and/or measurement of urine.

Device Story

The Bardex® I.C. latex Foley catheter is a two-way urological catheter. It is inserted through the urethra into the bladder; the distal balloon is inflated with sterile water to secure the device in place. The catheter facilitates urine drainage from the bladder into an external collection device. It is used in clinical settings by healthcare professionals to manage patient urine output.
