Device Story

Phlebotest 2000 is a peripheral vascular diagnostic system. System includes a motorized patient chair with adjustable heel/foot supports for sitting or laying positions, controlled via remote. Integrated pneumatic system (compressor, pressure tank, valves) and sensors (strain gauges or air pressure cuffs) measure vascular parameters. Hardware and software interface with a Windows-based PC to process sensor data. Software programs support specific diagnostic tests: Outflow Plethysmography (OP), Passive Drain and Refill (PDR), Exercise Venous Plethysmography (EVP), and Triple Test (TTT). Clinicians use the system to perform vascular investigations; output is displayed on the PC to assist in clinical decision-making regarding vascular health.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. No clinical data provided.

Technological Characteristics
